What is the difference between assessments and quizzes in ANGEL?
The duplicity of quizzes has turned out to be common during the migration from Bb. But, ANGEL no longer fully supports quizzes, now they are called Assessments. The ones that you see that have an icon with one checkmark are quizzes, and the ones with 3 checkmarks are Assessments. That said, you can choose to hide or delete the quizzes (icon with 1 checkmark) to remedy the issue of grades not showing in the gradebook and most importantly, to have full functionality of ANGEL assessments. NOTE: Quizzes should be converted to Assessments by clicking the Utilities link beneath the quiz and selecting “Convert Quiz to an Assessment”. This should be done with each quiz. After ANGEL 7.3 (current version) quizzes will no longer be supported.
