What is the difference between Art Clay Silver and PMC?
Art Clay Silver is manufactured by Aida Chemicals of Japan. PMC is manufactured by Mitsubishi Materials of Japan. The core of the product is the same, however the manufacturing process is such that there are technical differences which lead to some minor handling, shrinkage and firing variations. We do not have a preference either way…It is our opinion that the selection really boils down to what you want to make with the piece and your familiarity with the product.
