What is the difference between Arden Architecturals standard corner guards and the fire rated corner guards?
All of Arden Architectural’s products meet class 1 requirements for flame spread and smoke density. We also have products that are two-hour fire rated. They serve as a fire barrier. The corner guards are flush mounted with one or two layers of intumescent behind them. They are only fire rated if installed in a rated wall.
