What is the difference between analog and digital technologies?
A. Analog technologies modulate radio signals without compressing data. This is the most inefficient and therefore most expensive mode of transmission. Digital technologies, on the other hand, convert speech into a sequence of binary symbols over a narrow range of frequencies. A similar battery will last longer with a digital phone as compared to an analog phone.
