What is the difference between an under-mount sink and inset sink?

Inset sink sits on top of your granite and generally come with their own draining area. Under-mount sinks are fixed to the underside of the granite, requiring a polished cut out in the granite, and can come with polished drainer grooves (photo left). This has to be done at our factory on one of our CNC machines. An upgrade is available when ordering with our COS service, please ask our sales team.
