What is the difference between an SEI Certificate and an SEI Certification?
The SEI offers both certificate and certification programs. Certificates are awarded after you attend a prearranged series of SEI continuing education courses and serve to recognize your successful completion of an educational process. Certificate programs are a good way to build your skills and generally do not require an examination or follow-up training. The completion of a certificate program designates professionals as having acquired a specific body of knowledge within the software engineering field.
