There is no such thing as an “NC2”. NC refers to the VIN prefix of the third generation MX-5 Miata. It has not changed. Some people choose to refer to the mid project cycle face lift that began with the 2009 model as an NC2, but that is not official in any way and is not acknowledged by Miata.net.
