What is the difference between an IPod/MP3/MP4 player and a Media Player?
IPods and other small MP3/MP4 players are designed as personal music and video players, will fit in your pocket, and have between 512Mb (0.5Gb) and 30Gb of Flash or Mini-Hard-Disk storage. A media player is usually bigger, not usually portable (due to it needing a mains adapter), usually has 100Gb+ of hard disk space (takes a standard hard disk), and can usually play most digital music and video that you throw at it, AVIs, DivX, Mpeg, etc, without conversion.
