Instructor: Responsible for enroling students onto a Blackboard course and subsequently teaching those students through using the tools provided under ‘Teach’ tab of the Blackboard course. Designer: Responsible for designing and building a Blackboard course. This is done through using the tools provided under ‘Build’ tab of the Blackboard course. Designer/Instructor: one who sets up and teaches a section you will have this combined role. In your section you will see both the design and teach tabs. Student: Once enrolled students sees your course when he / she logs into Blackboard. They use learning materials located under the ‘Student view’ tab of the Blackboard course.
