What is the difference between an Initial Registration and Activity and Expenditure Reports?
Initial Registrations are filed for each employer a lobbyist represents. The initial registration discloses the person on whose behalf a lobbyist has been hired, the industry of the client and the type of legislation, executive agency decision or retirement system decision in which the client has an interest. Activity and Expenditure Reports are filed with the Legislative Inspector General’s Office three times a year.
