What is the difference between an eCopy Connector and eCopy Quick Connect?
A “Connector” is an add-on link between an eCopy-enabled scanner or digital copier and a networked software application or service like e-mail, document management systems, fax servers, enterprise software applications, etc. It is a physical piece of software. A “Quick Connect” is a feature/function within eCopy ShareScan. You can configure “Quick Connect” in virtually unlimited ways using any number of scanning profiles. You can set up custom “scan to file” buttons (total cannot exceed 6 buttons on the eCopy touch screen) that can use shared folders on your network and utilize batch processing.
