What is the difference between an e-mail alias and e-mail forwarder?
Both an alias and forwader serve the same function – to act as an imaginary e-mail address which forwards e-mails to an alternate e-mail address specified by the user. An e-mail alias is used to forward e-mails within your domain name (e.g. admin@yourdomain.com is forwarded to info@yourdomain.com). On the other hand, e-mail forwarders are used to forward e-mails to e-mail addresses on other domains (e.g. yourname@yourdomain.com to yourname@yourisp.com).
