There is essentially no difference between an Australian ETA visa and an Australian eVisitor visa. The ETA visa was introduced in 2000 and was designed for travel agents to arrange the visas. The eVisitor was introduced in 2008 and can only be applied for online. Both are valid for travel, although you can’t hold both at the same time. The eVisitor is available to the new member states of the EU (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic and Slovenia. These countries cannot get an ETA visa. Other than that, the conditions, validity periods, health and character requirements are all the same. Our service fee for arranging both visa classes is the same – €7.50 or ₤6 per visa.
