What is the difference between an Assisted Living Facility, like Midland Meadows, and a Nursing Home?
Our residents choose to live at Midland Meadows. We treat our residents as customers instead of patients. OHFLAC, the state agency regulating assisted living in West Virginia, has rewarded our excellence in care with their approval and confidence in our community. Since we provide licensed nurses 24 hours a day and are qualified with adequate staff, OHFLAC allows us to care for even the most frail type of resident. The only resident we can not care for is a resident with a feeding tube.
