What is the difference between an above/on deck and below deck cabin?

There is no real discernable difference in the cabins on offer, except that ‘above deck’ cabins are arranged on the main or top deck of the boat, whilst ‘below deck’ cabins are arranged within the hull of the boat below the main deck. Above/on deck cabins usually have a window and therefore better views and more sunlight. ‘Below deck’ cabins usually just have a small port hole.
