What is the difference between AMR and WAVE formats?

0

WAVE is a non-compressed audio format. It has better quality than AMR, but WAVE files are larger. AMR is compressed audio format, good enough for saving voice. 1 minute record in AMR format is about 120 Kb, 1 minute in WAVE format is about 1 Mb. You cannot e-mail your WAVE record using VR+. Playback in WAVE is possible though.
