ANS: There is a bit of confusion about this because some people use signs from American Sign Language ( ASL ) in English word order. That isn’t ASL . ASL has its own grammar and syntax. It’s a language on the hands, face, and position of the body. Comparing ASL to English is like comparing English to Spanish. Both are completely different languages.
