What is the difference between Adipex and Adipex-P?
Adipex stimulates the central nervous system which has the effect of appetite suppression. Adipex is available as a capsule or tablet containing 37.5mg of phentermine. Adipex should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The most common dosage is once daily either before breakfast or one-two hours after. Some people find it more effective to take half this dosage two times a day. They do this by simply splitting the Adipex pill. Adipex capsules cannot be split. Adipex is known to increase energy levels and can cause insomnia. For these reasons Adipex should not be taken in the evening as this may disrupt your sleeping patterns. Adipex can be habit forming and it is advised that it be taken for no longer than a 12 week period. For the best weight loss results a controlled program of diet and exercise are recommended.
