What is the difference between Ad-hoc scanning and Issue Management?
There are two types of users on the Accenture Digital Diagnostics Tool, Issue Managers and Ad-hoc users. Issue Managers remediate issues on the production Issue Management Servers. An Issue Manager’s main role is to either assign, ignore, or manually remediate issues. By remediating issues, their leaderboard scores may increase. Ad-hoc users are generally developers who create their own scan settings and perform a self-audit before pushing their site to production. Please note that Issue Management should not be performed on an Ad-hoc server. Remediations completed on Ad-hoc servers cannot be retained.
