What is the difference between active scans and previous scans?

0

Active scans reflect all the scan requests that you have initiated and: • Are in progress • Are being reviewed for any amendment requests or • Have been completed but have shown that your PCI network has vulnerabilities that need to be addressed before it can be certified Previous scans include all PCI scans that result in your network becoming PCI certified, and all scans that are more than 30 days old and therefore not eligible for additional PCI scan certification by the nCircle Certified PCI Scan Service. Please note that only scans that failed certification are eligible for re-scanning during a 30-day period. Scans that passed certification are automatically moved into the “Previous Scans” table and are not eligible for re-scanning. You will be notified via email about the completion of the scan as well as the availability of the correspnding audit report.
