What is the difference between activating a license number, and returning a license number?
When you activate a purchased license number, you are enabling your copy of Window-Eyes to run for the specified amount of time (1 month). When you return an activated license number, you are removing the ability to run Window-Eyes unrestricted for the specified amount of time. In other words, when you return an activated license number, you are essentially turning your copy of Window-Eyes into a 30 minute demo. Returning a license is necessary when uninstalling Window-Eyes to avoid losing the activation.
