Academic software includes the same software and packaging as the regular retail versions but with a label “Academic” on the box and is “Academically priced.” The software is not limited or different from the commercial version. Manufacturers offer Academic software to Students and Teachers at discounted prices, but again, the software is not different in any way than the Commercial version. DiscountMountainSoftware does not require any proof that you will be using academic software for academic use nor does the manufacturer. It is on the honor system between you and the manufacturer.
