What is the difference between Abraham Low Self-Help Systems and Recovery International?
Recovery International is a program of Abraham Low Self-Help Systems, just like The Power to Change for Schools and The Power to Change for Corrections. Recovery International, which was its own organization, merged with The Abraham Low Institute in January 2008, to work together to provide Low’s self-help systems to as many people as possible. In January 2009, the two organizations completed their merger with the incorporation of Abraham Low Self-Help Systems. 2. Is Recovery International a 12-Step program? The Recovery International system and self-help groups are not a 12-step program. However, many people attend both Recovery International meetings and 12-step groups.
