General Water Resistance: A watch that on the case back is stamped “Water Resistant” or “Water Resistant 30m (meters)” or “3 ATM” This watch is not water resistant in the following cases: professional deepwater diving, recreational scuba diving, bathing, swimming, snorkeling, hot-tubbing, It does have sufficient water resistant characteristics for: being out in the rain, and washing one’s hands. HighGrade Water Resistance: The case back will be marked “Water Resistant 50m (meters) or “5ATM” This watch is not water resistant in the following cases: professional deepwaterdiving, recreational scuba diving, hot-tubbing, and bathing.
