What is the difference between a voice teacher and a vocal coach?
A voice teacher is knowledgeable in vocal technique and can demonstrate the vocal principals that he or she teaches. A vocal coach has a thourough understanding of devices used in a particular style of Music but is unable to help you build a solid vocal technique. It is popular to call oneself a vocal coach these days, so while most voice teachers are well versed in one or several styles of music (thus they may be called vocal coaches) not all vocal coaches are voice teachers.
