What is the difference between a Thrust Angle alignment and a 4-wheel alignment?
A thrust angle alignment uses the rear wheels as a reference to align the front wheels. This type of alignment is used for those vehicles that have non-adjustable rear suspensions. A “total” or 4-wheel alignment requires all four wheels to be aligned and adjusted. This can produce better gas mileage since all four wheels are parallel and minimizes rolling resistance. This type of alignment is performed on those vehicles with adjustable rear suspensions.
