WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A STRESS LEAVE AND A MEDICAL LEAVE?

0

A stress leave could be considered a medical leave It would be correct to call it a medical leave, especially if some busy body likes to spread gossip about them. Sometimes people can be very cruel about someone needing professional help because of stress, etc. It is hard enough to go through that without having to come back to work and finding out everyone thinks they know your business, whether they do or not. It would also be really upsetting to go on medical leave to treat another kind of medical condition and come back to work and have everyone thinking you were in a psych ward the whole time. A medical leave can be as long as needed – and the person would be working with HR and his/her manager. It is no one else’s business. A person’s medical business is PRIVATE.
