Specialty stations have a specific theme or focus. For example: MuchMusic airs music programming while TSN airs sports programming. Conventional stations on the other hand air a variety of programs that are more general interest in nature and usually include local and national news in addition to comedies, dramas, movies and specials like Two and a Half Men, Flashpoint, Sticks and Stones and The JUNO Awards.
