“Spec” is home builder jargon referring to any house that we have pre-planned prior to selling it. That means that we have selected the lot, model and options, and in most cases all interior colours and materials, in order to get a head -start on the building process. The advantage to purchasing a “Spec” is that you will be able to move into your new home sooner, since we have already completed the initial planning phase for you.
