What is the difference between a solid surface, cultured marble, quartz, & granite material?
• Cultured Marble Man made material. Typically used on bathtub & shower surrounds as well as vanity tops. Made of a solid surface gel-coat applied over a solid matrix. This material cannot be cut and polished. The Material must be ordered in exact sizes needed • Solid Surface Man made material. Typically used on bathtub & shower surrounds as well as vanity tops. Made of a complex-acrylic or polyester material. This material can be cut and polished as needed for fitting. • Granite Material Naturally occurring stone material that can be used in a multitude of applications from vanities and tub surrounds to countertops and floor tiles. Can be cut and polished as needed for custom fitting. • Quartz Man made material that contains 93% natural quartz. – Can be used in a multitude of applications from vanities to surrounds to countertops.
