What is the difference between a SKU number and a location number?
A location number is a code for where you store your books, for example, in a warehouse or on a shelf or a combination thereof. If you have all of your books in one location you can just assign one code such as “1” to all of your books. A SKU number is assigned to your book to identify that book. If you don’t have a SKU number Fillz will assign one. If the your book inventory came from Amazon without SKU numbers we use your Amazon Listing Number as your SKU number. It’s a way to identify a book other than an ISBN.
