What is the difference between a single-reverse and a double-faced flag?
A single-reverse flag reads correct on the front side and has the mirror image on the back side. This is the most cost-effective way to make a flag and also keeps the flag lighter, which allows it to fly in light breezes. Ninety-five percent of all flags are made this way. A double-faced flag is essentially two flags sewn together, usually with a liner in between to prevent shadowing. It reads correct on both sides. A double-faced flag does not fly as well in light breezes due to its weight, and is more expensive than a single-reverse flag.
