What is the difference between a simm and a calling card?
I believe Mariah is mostly correct…. Calling card (at least, years ago) used to be a card tied to an account, which you could use to make “cheaper” calls mainly for other countries. The calling card was distinctly separate from any mobile subscription (prepay or contract) that you may have had, and could be used from a mobile or landline (payphone, home line, business line etc.) The BT Chargecard was/is a sort of calling card, but Calling Cards are typically something you buy in small newsagents or convenience stores, and have some unique account number, PIN and pre-paid value. I’ve never used one, so I don’t know how (if at all) they can be topped up.
