What is the difference between a Service and a Flush?

0

A Service consists of removing the transmission pan replacing the filter and pan gasket and reinstalling the pan; this replaces about a 33% of the total fluid. A Flush is a Service with the addition of hooking up the transmission oooler lines to a machine that removes the remaining transmission fluid from the cooling system and torque converter. A flush is recommended because it replenishes almost 100% of transmssion fluid.
