What is the difference between a semester and a session?
Southwestern financial aid is disbursed by semester (Fall, Spring and Summer). For the professional studies and graduate programs, semesters are further broken down into sessions (see chart below). Just remember, that when it comes to financial aid, you will receive one disbursement per semester — not session.
