What is the difference between a Self-op and a Co-op?
In most residences, dining and custodial services are provided by the University. In 36 student-managed houses, students manage some facets of the operation of the house. Among these houses, self-operated houses offer opportunities for student management of meal plans. In cooperative houses, students participate directly in both cleaning and preparation of meals.
