What is the difference between a scribe and a notetaker?
As noted above, a scribe is there to assist the student with the physical aspect of any in-class writing. A notetaker is typically a fellow student who agrees to provide the student with a disability with a copy of their classroom notes. The Center on Disability provides carbonless paper for the notetaker to use and issues the volunteer with a $25 gift certificate to the College bookstore.
