What is the difference between a Report Control Number (RCN) and a Screening Point Case Number?

0

The RCN is assigned by the Originating Activity and is used to uniquely identify the PQDR in all subsequent communications by the Screening Point and the activities investigating the complaint. The Screening Point Case number is a number assigned by the Screening Point for in-house tracking and management purposes. Note that PQDRs received from the US Army or US Air Force may have case numbers assigned that uniquely identify the PQDR in the local processing systems of those services.
