What is the difference between a Reference Book and a Self-Study Class?

0

The IBT Reference Books are exactly that: books that explain in detail the specific subject matter of the title. For some of the Reference Book titles, IBT also offers a self-study class that includes the Reference Book plus a series of tests that cover each chapter of the book. Students in the self-study class read and study a chapter of the book, complete the test for that chapter, and submit it to the instructor. The instructor reviews the test and provides detailed explanations why any answers were incorrect. Students also have the option of contacting the instructor during or after they complete the course if they have questions regarding the subject matter of their self-study class.
