A requisition is a customer specific document. It is a common procurement term. In Dimension Data Direct Self Service quotes and requisitions are synonymous. A requisition has the following numbers: a. Requisition #: System generated and customer unique value b. Quote #: Only if the requisition originated from a quote (one quote can have multiple requisitions also). A quote is a seller specific document. In Dimension Data Direct this is known as a Full Service Quote. This document has a quote number once submitted to the client.
