What is the difference between a “Quick Reply” and an “Advanced” reply?

0

This new PhinisheD offers two different ways of responding to posts. The quick reply is just that: It allows you fire off a brief reply without needing to specify a separate message title and body, and the form is at the bottom of each thread. The advanced editing form, on a separate page you can access by clicking the “Reply” button in the lower right corner of each message or the “Go To Advanced Editor” button beneath the quick rely form, gives you the option of adding a title to your post and adding many extras such as text formatting, smilies, vibes, links, and attachments. If you begin writing a response in the quick reply form, and then decide you want to switch to the advanced form instead, the message you’ve written so far is transferred to the new form.
