What is the difference between a pyramid scheme and network marketing?
Pyramid schemes are non-sustainable business models that involve the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, usually without any product or service being delivered. It is an illegal scam. Only the people at the very top make any money. Network marketing is a legal governed business model. Every one involved can make substantial money. Income is determined by actual work performed. A recruit can eventually earn more than their upline. Unlike in a pyramid scheme a recruit will never make more money than his upline, or worst if he makes any money at all.
