What is the difference between a pump gun and a semi automatic gun?
Pump guns must me manually cocked between each shot. A semi automatic recocks automatically between shots. A player simply pulls the trigger when he/she wants to fire a paintball. Pump guns are a bit more difficult to use than semi automatics based on the fact that they have to manually cocked each time they are fired. Semi autos are simpler to use than pump guns and allow greater rates of fire (more balls fired per minute) than pump guns.
