By default, Imagekind galleries are set to Public. Your gallery will be publicly searchable in the database of Member Art. This means that any Imagekind user will be able to view, search, and purchase your art. Your images will be immediately available for viewing in your account after you have uploaded them. With a private gallery, you and anyone will be able access your gallery directly through your unique URL http://yourscreenname.imagekind.com/galleryname, but your gallery and images within it will not be included in the publicly searchable Imagekind marketplace. This allows you to upload, set-prices, configure default frames, and write descriptions and tag your images prior to them being offered for sale in the Imagekind marketplace. Once your gallery is configured as you wish, you can change it to a public gallery. You may also choose to lock your gallery with a password to completely control access.
