Generally speaking, you would only want to choose “public” when logging onto a public use or lab computer. Choosing “public” will require the user to authenticate with his/her netID and password more frequently that choosing “private”. Whether you choose “public” or “private”, users of OWA will need to authenticate with his/her NetID/password after every time an OWA browser session is closed. 9.
