What is the difference between a “public” and a “private” VisualCV?
When members first join VisualCV, we create a starter public VisualCV for them. Any subsequent VisualCVs a member creates are private VisualCVs. Your public VisualCV Your public VisualCV is referred to as My VisualCV on your VisualCV dashboard. By default, other VisualCV members will see this VisualCV when they log in to VisualCV. When you join VisualCV, we also create a web address (URL) for your VisualCV that looks like this: www.visualcv.com/LoginName The LoginName portion of the URL comes from the VisualCV login name you selected when you first joined. If you change the privacy setting of your public VisualCV to “Anyone,” you can share your VisualCV with anyone with an Internet connection using its URL. You can include this URL on your business cards, in your email signature, or on other websites to point to this VisualCV.
