What is the difference between a Partial Withdrawal and a Total Withdrawal?
There are 2 types of patient withdrawals: ? Partial Withdrawal (WP) and Total Withdrawal (WT) Partial Withdrawal If a patient partially withdraws from the RADAR trial, then every attempt must be made (eg. telephone contact) to collect the information required on the WP form every 6 months. In addition, if the patient agrees to complete the Self Assessment Forms, then these forms should be mailed to the patient with a stamped, return addressed envelope every 6 months for completion. Total Withdrawal Although it is hoped that no patient will completely withdraw from the trial for any reason, it is recognized that every patient has the right to do so. Under these circumstances, please complete the WT form (Total Withdrawal Form) as notification of the total withdrawal.
