What is the difference between a Partial and an IOP?
A Partial Program meets five days per week for four to six hours per day. Treatment provided consists of mental health groups and a psychiatric evaluation. The adolescent engages in one or two hours of education per day provided by a certified teacher. The length of stay averages between two to three weeks. The Dual Diagnosis IOP is an intensive outpatient program for adolescents who are struggling with drug and alcohol issues as well as a mental health diagnosis. The IOP Program meets three times per week for two hours sessions. Total hours per week ranges between six and nine.
