What is the difference between a Notice of Change and an Annual/Semi-Annual Renewal?
The Lobbyists Registration Act requires that all Consultant lobbyists and In-House lobbyists (Persons and Partnerships) provide the Registrar with any changes to the information contained in the registration within 30 days after the change occurs or the lobbyist becomes aware of the change. As a convenience, our office has provided to all lobbyists the ability to file a “Notice of Change” at any time. The Act also requires that all Consultant lobbyists and In-House lobbyists (Persons and Partnerships) renew their registrations on an annual basis and In-House lobbyists (Organizations) renew their registrations on a semi-annual basis. You will receive an email when your registration is due for renewal.
