What is the difference between a nominee, an Honoree, and a Category Finalist?

0

A nominee is a teacher identified through the public nomination process. Only a nominee who completes the Disney’s American Teacher Awards application is eligible for selection as an Honoree. The national selection committee chooses three applicants in each of the 10 categories to be Disney’s American Teacher Awards Honorees. From this group of Honorees, 10 Category Finalists will be chosen, as will the Outstanding Teacher of the Year. For more information on Disney’s American Teacher Awards, please visit our American Teacher Awards home page.
